behind the Lens

Born and raised in Canada, I’ve been calling Prague, Czech Republic home since 2015.

Photography found me early, long before any degrees or careers. I spent countless hours in the darkroom, more rolls of film than I could ever count, and completely absorbed in the craft. But I took the practical path first. Business school. But something kept pulling me back, and so I followed that pull and went back to school for applied photography. I graduated with a camera in hand and started freelancing,  and that's when advertising found me too. What was meant to be temporary had a way of lasting. I spent a few years working as an art producer alongside talented photographers, which only deepened my love for the craft.

Then Prague. Another temporary stay that had other plans. I've been here nearly twelve years now, working in market research and slowly, steadily, finding my way back to the camera.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in my hand or within arm’s reach. I love diving into a craft project, whether that’s crochet, sewing, or macramé - there’s almost always a creative project on the go. Life in Prague keeps the rest of my days full and I wouldn't have it any other way.
